Technology Conference
Hosted By
February 2-3, 2013 :: Palo Alto, CA
The mission of the Out for Undergrad Technology Conference is to educate, inspire and advance lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (“LGBT”) undergraduate students in challenging technical and non-technical positions within the world’s leading technology companies. The conference helps exceptional LGBT undergraduates develop strategies for managing and leveraging their identity in the workplace. The students have an opportunity to meet junior and senior professionals from across the sponsoring firms and listen and learn from individual professionals’ personal experiences.
Additionally, through panels, workshops and demos, students receive an ‘inside’ view on the spectrum of opportunities that make Silicon Valley a globally recognized center for innovation. The conference is February 2nd and 3rd at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, CA. Travel scholarships that cover airfare and hotel accommodations are given to the most exceptional applicants.
OUTC is now accepting applications for the 2013 conference organizing committee.
