Oct 4-5, 2013 :: New York, NY
The vision of the Out for Undergrad Business Conference is to educate, inspire and advance lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (“LGBT”) undergraduate students in financial services, management consulting, and accounting positions. The conference helps exceptional LGBT undergraduates develop strategies for managing and leveraging their identity in the workplace. The students have an opportunity to meet junior and senior professionals from across the sponsoring firms and listen and learn from individual professionals’ personal experiences.
The 2013 Conference will be held in early October in New York City and marks the ten year anniversary of OUBC. Merit scholarships to cover travel expenses and lodging are available for strong applicants. There will be opportunities to network with students from other schools and professionals from sponsoring companies at receptions, evening events and a career fair. The conference registration fee includes all conference meals, event materials, and panels / modules.
“This event was without a doubt one of the my most memorable and inspiring times in my life. My life long dream is to be a trader for one of the big banks and to have that coupled with a completely accepting and welcoming environment where for two days I could just be myself was absolutely incredible. I loved every second of this event and will keep the feeling of pure acceptance and support with me every day.”
