A planned gift is a simple way to make sure the people and causes you care about are looked after. By including Out for Undergrad (O4U) in your will, you can help future generations of LGBTQ2IA+ students find community, build confidence, and launch their careers. Planned giving allows you to make a significant future impact regardless of your current financial situation.
A will gives you a say.
You don’t have to be wealthy (or anywhere near retirement!) to make a will. In fact, when you are young is the best time to start!
A will lets you decide what happens to the things you leave behind. You can name who you want to receive your belongings and assets, make your wishes clear to the people you love, and choose to support causes that matter to you.
Without a will, state law generally determines who inherits your property. Making one gives you a voice in those decisions.
Your values can be part of your plan.
By including Out for Undergrad (O4U) in your will, you ensure O4U continues our essential work ensuring LGBTQ2IA+ students reach their full potential. You can leave O4U a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or what remains after gifts to loved ones.
